Did you know that as of 2023, the global influencer market is valued at a staggering $21.1 billion?
And I think this is just the beginning. I believe that in 10 years' time, it will rise to $100 billion. Why am I talking about this? This is something we should discuss. It's time we start considering this as a career in India.
YouTube's creative ecosystem contributed nearly INR 10,000 crores to the country's GDP. Most people in India have this thought about creators; they are making videos, wasting their time. They believe there isn't any potential in becoming a creator. They lack knowledge and awareness.
Of course, the 80/20 rule applies to it. 80 percent of the revenue is generated from the top 20 percent creators, but that doesn't mean 80 percent of the creators are not generating any revenue at all.
