About me.

I got into technology in 2014, a home computer, my first Android phone, and the slow realization that the things on the screen were made by people, and could therefore be made differently. That led to HTML. Then small websites. Then the question of what else was possible.

By 2016 I was building websites and selling small projects to friends and local businesses in Srinagar. It was the first time someone paid me for something I made. That changes how you see the work, it stops being a hobby and starts being something with stakes.

I tried everything: web development, programming, video editing, music. Not exceptional at any of it, but genuinely curious about all of it. Curiosity turned out to be the more durable skill.

After school I stepped away from technology for a while to explore other paths. It wasn't wasted time, the absence clarified what I actually wanted to do. I came back to building. In 2022 I started a social media and content agency, what's now Viral Pulse Media, helping brands show up consistently online.

By 2024 the work was pulling toward software, so I pivoted into building products and founded OpenLoop, an AI-first software agency. Around the same time I tried Superfastt, a quick-commerce idea for Kashmir, built it, tested it, and shut it down after a few months when the economics didn't fit. Knowing when to stop is part of the job.

ViberNet came from a problem I lived with every day, Kashmir's internet has always been fragile. Slow, expensive, and at the mercy of decisions made far away. I started it in September 2025 to build the network I wished existed: fiber to the home, owned backbone, a local team that cares. StarterHost grew straight out of ViberNet, and SuperDash, the NOC dashboard we built to run ViberNet's own network, became a product other ISPs use to run theirs.

Now I run all of them. Still learning. Still making mistakes. This site is where I put it all down as honestly as I can manage. I document the raw reality of running these companies through my Build in Public campaigns.

The name I carry has a history of its own, the Shahmiri dynasty ruled Kashmir from Srinagar for 222 years, founded by Shah Mir in 1339. I wrote both stories down properly.
